About Composer/Producer Mona Gable
Mona picked up her first guitar at age 7 and immediately knew that music would be her lifelong passion.
She began playing bars and clubs before she was old enough to get in "legally" (but don't tell anyone)!
Over the years she has opened for, and performed with many notable artists such as Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit of the Eagles, The Beach Boys, Night Ranger, The Fixx, The Ramones, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Nick Lowe. For eight years she was a member of the duo Memory Age, whose progressive, uniquely arranged, compositions blended choral vocals, electronic and acoustic instruments, and earned them an impressive fan base and the accolades of Steve Vai, David Byrne (The Talking Heads), Joe Satriani and many other influential artists.
After Memory Age disbanded, Mona went solo and started SLICE A PIE PRODUCTIONS where she composes, music for film, television, advertising, trailers, video games, and produces and arranges projects for other artists. Mona recently produced singles for Jo De La Rosa, star of Bravo's "Real Housewives of Orange County" and "Meet My Ex." She has also completed producing and recording for the much anticipated
VIDEO GAME COMPOSERS VOL 1 from the new record label, I SAW YOU ON TV/emg/Universal.
This Cd contains original music from the world's very FINEST, Academy, Emmy & Grammy award winning video game composers (Avatar, God of War, Rise to Honor, Conan, Golden Compass, Spiderman 2, King Kong and many more).
In addition to producing the CD, Mona also has 2 tracks on it, including the theme from "VIDEO GAME CHRONICLES." **To be released Q1 2010**
